Al-Sharrhh
Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
