The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the fig and the olive 1 and by the Mount Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 We have indeed created man in the best of mould, 4 and We shall make him the lowest of low 5 Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest of all sovereigns? 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
