In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Recite! Your Lord is the most Honorable One, 3 Who teacheth by the pen, 4 taught Man that he knew not. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 for he believes himself to be self-sufficient. 7 Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all). 8 Have you seen him who restrains 9 a worshipper from praying? 10 What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 does he not know that Allah sees? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 his lying sinful forelock. 16 Then let him call his associates; 17 We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)! 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
