The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 Created man from a clinging substance. 2 Read, for your Lord is most beneficent, 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 Nay! man is most surely inordinate, 6 because he thinks himself self-sufficient: 7 Lo! unto thy Lord is the return. 8 HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent 9 A servant when he prays? 10 Have you seen if he is upon guidance 11 He would enjoin piety, so how good it would be! 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Is he then unaware that Allah seeth? 14 Nay, if he desist not, We shall most surely drag him down upon his forehead 15 by the lying forelock steeped in sin. 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We will call the guards of hell. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
Almighty God's Truth.
