Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 upon the straight path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
