Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
