The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
