The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
