The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the racers, panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And therein raising dust. 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
