Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
