Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak 1 From the evil of that which He created 2 "And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away). 3 from the evil of the women who blow on knots; 4 and from the evil of the envious ones. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
