Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 The great ones among his people replied: "Verily, we see that thou art obviously lost in error!" 60 Said he, 'My people, there is no error in me; but I am a Messenger from the Lord of all Being.' 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
