Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
