We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
