(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
