We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
