"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
