And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 Like (those) We had sent to those schismatics who slandered their Books 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 When (you feel so) glorify your Lord with His praise and prostrate yourself before Him, 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
