And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
