He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 and ease my task for me. 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 And let him share my task 32 That we may exalt You much 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 The Lord said, "Moses, your request is granted. 36 Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 "'Put him into a chest, then cast it into the river. The river will cast it on to the bank, and there he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and his.' I showered My love on you so that you might be reared under My watchful eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 "And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." 44 They both said, "Our Lord, We fear that he may commit some excess against us, or exceed all bounds in transgression." 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 So eat yourself and pasture your cattle. Surely there are many Signs in this for people of understanding. 54
