Blest is He Who, if He willed, shall appoint for them something better than that: gardens whereunder the rivers flow, and appoint for them palaces. 10 But they reject the hour, and We have prepared a burning fire for him who rejects the hour. 11 When it sees them from a place far off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh. 12 And when they are flung into a strait place thereof, bound up, they shall call therein unto death. 13 Call not today for a single death but call for death manifold. 14 Say: 'Is that better, or the Garden of Eternity which the cautious have been promised? It is their recompense and their arrival' 15 For them therein is whatever they wish, [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested. 16 On the Day He gathers them all together with those they worship besides Him, He will say, "Was it you who misled My servants, or did they stray away by themselves?" 17 They will submit, “Purity is to You – it was not rightful for us to appoint any Master besides You; but You gave them and their forefathers usage to the extent that they forgot Your Remembrance; and they were indeed the people who destroy themselves.” 18 So they shall indeed give you the lie in what you say, then you shall not be able to ward off or help, and whoever among you is unjust, We will make him taste a great chastisement. 19 And We have not sent before you any apostles but they most surely ate food and went about in the markets; and We have made some of you a trial for others; will you bear patiently? And your Lord is ever Seeing. 20
