۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
