The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and drowned the others. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
