Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
