The dwellers in the wood (of Midian) denied the messengers (of Allah), 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 Have fear of God and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ "[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others]; 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said: "Surely you are deluded. 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
