O Prophet! Command your wives and your daughters and the women of the Muslims to cover their faces with a part of their cloaks; this is closer to their being recognised and not being harassed; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (It is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.) 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those who have a disease in their hearts, and those who make a commotion in the City do not desist, We will surely urge you against them. Then they will be your neighbors for only a little (while), 60 cursed wherever they are found, they will be seized and put to death. 61 Such has been God's way with those who [sinned in like manner and] passed away aforetime - and never wilt thou find any change in God's way! 62 People ask you concerning the Hour, say: "The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What do you know? It may be that the Hour is near!" 63 Allah has indeed cursed the disbelievers, and has kept prepared for them a blazing fire. 64 There they will live forever, and they will find therein neither friend nor helper. 65 On the day when their faces will be overturned being roasted inside the fire, they will say, “Alas – if only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed His Noble Messenger!” 66 And they will say, “Our Lord! We followed our chiefs and our elders – so they misled us from the path!” 67 O Lord, give them a double punishment, and put a grievous curse upon them." 68
