Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
