Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 pursuing a straight way 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
