But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We have not taught him poetry; it is not seemly for him. It is only a Remembrance and a Clear Koran, 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so they are their masters? 71 And We have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding and on some of them they feed? 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 They set up deities apart from Allah, hoping that they will receive help from them. 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 Let not their words grieve you. Surely We know all things about them, what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 Does not man see We created him from a drop of semen? Even then he becomes an open contender, 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say: 'He will quicken them who originated them the first time; He has knowledge of every creation; 79 He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). 80 Is, then, He who has created the heavens and the earth not able to create [anew] the like of those [who have died]? Yea, indeed - for He alone is the all-knowing Creator: 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 Exaltations to Him in whose Hand is the Kingdom of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
