3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers! 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
