We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
