And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
