Hizb 46

And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 So ask their opinion: “(Are you convinced) that your Lord should have daughters and you should have sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 And verily we! we hallow. 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 That they would be helped, 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
