Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
