The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The All-merciful 1 Taught the Quran. 2 He created man, 3 and He has taught him the Explanation. 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration. 6 He raised the sky and set the Balance 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees sheathed. 11 the grain in the blade; and aromatic herbs. 12 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, 14 And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke: 15 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 18 He hath let loose the two seas. 19 [yet] between them is a barrier which they may not transgress. 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 From the two oceans comes pearls and coral. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 24 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 25
