All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 yet still abides the Face of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 27 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 Which of your Lord's laudable attributes will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 30 We shall dispose of you, O ye two dependents (man and jinn). 31 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if ye have power to penetrate (all) regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! Ye will never penetrate them save with (Our) sanction. 33 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 34 (If you so venture) a flame of fire and smoke shall be lashed at you, which you shall be unable to withstand. 35 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 36 (What will happen) when the heaven will be split asunder and will become crimson like leather? 37 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 38 Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 42 This will be the hell which those who are lost in sin [now] call a lie: 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 45
