▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 full of various trees. 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
God the Almighty always says the truth.
