▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
