The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in towering columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
