The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
