Al-Imraan 7 of 20

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims." 64 O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason? 65 Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that which you have no knowledge? It is Allah Who knows, and you know not. 66 Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian; but he was a Muslim, free from all falsehood; and was not of the polytheists. 67 The nearest people to Abraham, among mankind, are those who followed him, this Prophet (Muhammad) and the true believers. God is the Guardian of the true believers. 68 A faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not. 69 O People given the Book(s)! Why do you disbelieve in the signs of Allah, whereas you yourselves are witnesses? 70 People of the Book! Why do you confound truth with falsehood, and knowingly hide the truth? 71
