No affliction can befall man but by God's permission -- He guides the hearts of those who believe in Him: God has knowledge of all things -- 11 And obey God, and obey the Messenger; but if you turn your backs, it is only for the Messenger to deliver the Manifest Message. 12 God is the only Lord and in Him the believers should trust. 13 Believers! [Even] among your wives and your children you have enemies: so beware of them. But if you overlook their offences and forgive and pardon them, then surely, God is most forgiving and merciful. 14 Your riches and your children may be but a trial: but in the Presence of Allah, is the highest, Reward. 15 Therefore fear Allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. 16 If you set apart for Allah a goodly portion, He will double it for you and forgive you; and Allah is the Multiplier (of rewards), Forbearing, 17 Knower of what is open, Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. 18
