And recall what time Allah took a bond from the prophets saying whatever I vouchsafed unto you of Book and Wisdom, and, thereafter there cometh unto you an apostle confessing to that which is with you, ye shall surely believe in him and succour him. He said: assent ye, and take ye My burthen thereunto? They said: we assent. He said: then bear witness, and I am, with you among the witnesses. 81 Then whosoever turns his back after that -- they are the ungodly. 82 So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned? 83 Say, “We believe in Allah and what is sent down to us and what was sent down to Ibrahim, and Ismael, and Ishaq, and Yaqub (Jacob) and their sons, and that which came to Moosa and Eisa and the Prophets, from their Lord; we do not make any distinction, in belief, between any of them, and to Him we have submitted ourselves.” 84 And whoever seeks a way other than this way a submission (Islam), will find that it will not be accepted from him and in the Life to come he will be among the losers. 85 How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and after they bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) is true and after clear proofs had come unto them? And Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 86 What they will gain will be the condemnation of God, the angels, and all people, 87 Abiders therein, their torment shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited. 88 Except for those that repent (Even) after that, and make amends; for verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 89 but as for those who are bent on denying the truth after accepting the true faith and grow in their refusal to acknowledge the truth, their repentance will not be accepted. They are the ones who have gone far astray. 90 From those who deny and die disbelieving will never be accepted an earthful of gold if proferred by them as ransom. For them is grievous punishment, and none will help them. 91
