Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 and the severally severing 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 excusing or warning, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
