[But,] verily for the God-conscious there is supreme fulfilment in store: 31 Gardens and grapevines 32 And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; 33 And flasks full and flowing. 34 There hear they never vain discourse, nor lying - 35 a recompense from your Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, the most Gracious [and] none shall have it in their power to raise their voices to Him. 37 On that Day, when the Spirit (Gabriel) and the angels stand in ranks they shall not speak, except he to whom the Merciful has given permission, and says what is right. 38 That day is certain. So whosoever likes may prepare a way to his Lord. 39 Lo, We have warned you of a nigh chastisement, upon the day when a man shall behold what his hands have forwarded, and the unbeliever shall say, 'O would that I were dust!' 40
