What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
