Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know what you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
