The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder 1 And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] 2 and when the earth is leveled, 3 and casts out all that is within it and becomes empty; 4 obeying its Sustainer, as in truth it must: 5 O thou man! Verily thou art ever toiling on towards thy Lord- painfully toiling,- but thou shalt meet Him. 6 Then whoso is given his account in his right hand 7 He will be judged with an easy account 8 And he will return to his family rejoicing. 9 But he who is given his Book from behind his back 10 they will say, "Woe to us!" 11 and roast at the Blaze. 12 He lived rejoicing among his people, 13 He verily deemed that he would never return (unto Allah). 14 Yes indeed; his Lord had sight of him. 15 Nay; I swear by the twilight; 16 by the night and all that it envelops; 17 And the moon when at the full, 18 you shall proceed onwards from stage to stage. 19 What then is the matter with them, that they believe not?- 20 And, when the Qur'an is recited unto them, worship not (Allah)? ۩ 21 Indeed, those who are bent on denying the truth reject it -- 22 And Allah knows best what they hide, 23 (Muhammad), tell them that they will all suffer a painful torment 24 except to those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for theirs is an unfailing recompense. 25
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
