The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the midday brightness 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
