Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And raised high your fame? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
